TRAINING
AND SUPPORT:
We will provide a comprehensive hand-on training program on-site at your location. You will be instructed in the essentials of dry cleaning operations, working with employees, administration and marketing and everything needed to have successful dry cleaners. We will continue to support you as necessary.
Included will be computer and custom software system to accurately and quickly handle customers in and out and properly charge them. Computer will include time clock system, which will track employee’s time on the job. The system also includes bar-coding to help locate customers finished clothing.
Training will include learning to clean all classification of fabrics including wedding gown and other high profit items. Required will be certain applications for use of the boiler and the application of a dry cleaning plant. You will be assisted in completion of the necessary forms to obtain any permits necessary to fulfill State requirements.
LOCATION:
Location of your plant is most important and the store must be located where there is a strong demand for your services. We can provide you with site evaluation guidelines and consultation during your site search including in-depth demographic information ( see sample enclosed).
In selecting the size and shape of your building, it is best to find one with a minimum ceiling height of 12 feet. Ceiling height of 14-16 foot will allow storage conveyors to be installed overheard and leave floor space underneath the conveyor. You will probably want a building of at least 2,000 square feet up to 3,000 square feet.
We will provide you with a suggested equipment layout, showing all information needed for the proper completion of the space. Included with our layout design, we will provide location and sizes for drains, vents, boiler room, utility specifications, rest rooms and other related requirements. We will recommend required electrical and natural gas services need to the building. It is best for Electrical service to be 3 phase, and most probably a 400 amp service.
